Brass Knuckle Mic Stand
I don’t think I’m badass enough for this mic stand, or the cool grenade mic stand it’s paired with. Not that I’m a professional singer in any case, but I can see how these could strike fear into the hearts of my audience if I was.
This was found on an article over at b&hphotovideo.com, which is one of the greatest online stores in existence.
Display Unread Mail in Gmail
Ah, I just learned this tip about showing only unread emails in gmail. I had about 500 unread mails that were buried so deep it would have taken me days to remove them, but with this simple trick I was able to clear them out in minutes.
Here’s how to do it: when logged into gmail, in the search bar enter:
is:unread
Tada! Now you should see only your unread mail items. Your unread mail count will actually matter from now on.
And because you now know how to do this, the Google Mail Checker extension will now actually be useful! (Chrome users only)

Used Canon 28mm f2.8 for Sale – $150

I’m selling my Canon 28mm f2.8 for $150. It goes for about $270 new so this is a bargain on an already low-priced lens.
Some of the killer features of this lens are that it is very lightweight, inexpensive, and sharper than the kit lenses that come with most camera bodies. The color and saturation of this lens are also very good, and it has no noticeable distortion. See the bottom of this post for links to some reviews of this lens.

Have a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens for sale. This is a great all-purpose lens with emphasis on taking pictures of people.
Has great DOF at 75mm and also a short minimum focus distance so you can get close to things and get a nice DOF that way.
I shot most of my first few weddings with this lens and am very satisfied with the images, but am giving it up now that I’m able to replace it with higher end Canon Lenses.

San Diego Zip Codes
Okay I just spent a couple hours compiling this comprehensive list of all San Diego zip codes (every zip code in San Diego) after not finding one online. Some of these were borrowed from a pretty good list I found online (view here), but it still took me a lot of work to fill in the blanks.
All I’m asking is that you leave a comment or something if this list of San Diego zip codes comes in useful to you.
You’ll probably notice that there are some zip codes you didn’t even know existed, that’s because the zip codes were provided by a list of 30,000 addresses of real San Diegans, meaning its not likely that I missed a single zip code, but if you find one I’m missing, please leave a comment.

Wedding Dance
I love when the bride takes it away on the dance floor. I had a really good wedding today, from start to finish I was taking great pictures and feeling really comfortable.
I think I might have drank too much iced tea, I got mega caffeine shakes right now at 1:43 am. The food was really good, weddings are the only time I ever eat steak. I don’t buy beef (if you’re interested in learning why, read this post) but I sure do love the taste.
I have a sore lower back now and I’m tired from the long day on my feet. I’m also tired from the mental strain of taking photos and directing people.
